About Guardians of the Galaxy
The Guardians of the Galaxy palette was designed for the production of the same name.

Skin Illustrator is a line of professional film make-up products developed by award-winning make-up artist Kenny Myers and manufactured by Premiere Products, Inc. It is used by Academy and Emmy award-winning make-up artists throughout the world. In addition to the standard palettes sold to make-up artists, special orders of Skin Illustrator are frequently requested for use on specific films in order to ensure that all artists on the film use the same color palette throughout production.

The Skin Illustrator labels present a unique design challenge: ensuring that each label design is fresh and interesting while still conforming to a relatively fixed template. Leonardo da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man" was selected early in the product line's history as an iconic image, and most palettes include this motif on the right-hand side. The left of most palettes includes a curved area in a contrasting color, with the Skin Illustrator logo and the label text in a standardized position. However, despite the templated nature of these labels, there is a lot of room for creativity. The Vitruvian Man is often dressed or modified to reflect the nature of the palette or the specific movie it was designed for. Fonts and colors change frequently, and many palette labels include extra artwork and fun hidden imagery.
